The country music awards were great this year! I just loved it when carrie and brad were singing those songs at the beginning! I also love when littleyjimmy dickens came up and said that taylor had the greatest video! I absolutely love cowboy casanova too, that was great! Now I just can't wait until next year!! :)

Enchilada Pie

My daddy cooked supper tonight and what he cooked was called, Enchilada Pie!Let me tell you that it was good. The only bad part was he burnt the cheese on top and that is the best part. So what we did is we flipped it over and sprinkled some cheese on top! That made it good. What everyone should try is e-meals.com! It gives you meals for the week. It is hard to explain so I am just gonna say that it gives you a menu and kind of like a shopping list of what you need to buy. Ours is at Publix but I think you can also do Wal-mart and I can't remember where else. I am serious you need to try it!!!!

Show Us Your Life- Thanksgivings Traditions

Just some of many of my thanksgiving traditions is we all go to Greer, SC to my great grandma's house to eat lunch. Then we come home and the next day we go to Cashiers, NC to get our christmas tree. Sometimes if we are lucky it snows! It didn't snow last year but I think the year before that so maybe it will snow this year. Anyway, after we go get our christmas tree we go to Carolina Smokehouse to eat lunch. That place is so good!!!!! After that we go to some of the little gift shops in Cashiers. We usually stop someplace and get some hot apple cider. After all of this we go home. That is just some of my thanksgivig traditions!!

Weekend Wrap-up!

We were in Tennesee again this weekend! I didn't have school on Friday so we came Thursday. We played mini golf on Friday and I didn't win, I came in 3rd! My mom and brother tied for 1st and my papa came in last. We also went to cades cove on Friday and the leaves were gorgeous! We saw lots of deer but no bear! :( Saturday my brother, mom and I went to Dollywood!! It was kind of miserable though because it was raining :( While we were at Dollywood my grandma and grandpa did some shopping and things! We left today and we went on the Roaring Fork motor trail. We hiked Grotto Falls trail.You won't believe what we saw!! We saw a bear!!!!It was a mama bear and it was up in a tree. We saw it when we were headed up the trail and when we came back down we saw it again. It was on a different limb this time. It was still eating but then it started to come down! :o! I was so scared so I said to my mom lets go! We started to walk down the trail some and we finally got out so I was glad!Also no one got attacked so that is good. Then when we were coming down the moutain(out of Roaring Fork)there was all of this traffic and I thought you know it was just traffic. But then we saw a park ranger so it had to be something! THe park ranger wouldn't let us stop so we had to pull over and get out to get a picture. Well there was a baby bear up in the tree and its mama was at the bottom of the tree. So then we left and headed home! Today was a good day! And so was this weekend!!

My Wonderful Weekend!!

This weekend was great! Except for the part of me being sick!!! We went camping at Oconee and it was so fun! On Friday night it rained and we were so misrable but on Saturday and Sunday it was beautiful! I have had a cough for a while but now I have just a little cough and my nose is all stopped up! I really hope I feel better because next weekend we are going to Tennesee....again! :) I have Friday off of this week and Monday next week so we will be there for 4 days! Or maybe 3 because we may leave on Sunday. Anyway, my weekend was not magnificent but it sure was fun!!!!

BOO!!!! Happy Halloween!!

I went to a halloween/birthday party on friday and I was a cow girl! HOWDY!! These are just 2 of my good friends. Meredith was a cheerleader and Emily was a tacky person. It was so much fun! We danced and ate and it was amazing!

Trip to Tennesee!

We went to Tennesee and we stayed in Pigion Forge.(sorry if I misspelled it) It was so fun! We went to Dollywood on Sat. and had a blast! The best thing about Dollywood was this one show called Sha-kon-o-hey. That show was amazing!!! There was acrobats and singing and dancing it was wonderful! The best part about our trip was our hotel. We actually stayed in Sevierville. The hotel was like an old plantation home. The theme was gone with the wind. The great thing was that the pool was open 24 hours and they also had hot apple cider 24 hours. Our room overlooked the willow river with lots of pretty willow trees. If I remember correctly, I think the hotel was called the Clarion Inn. It was wonderful and I encourage you to go stay there! Our trip was great and I can't wait to go back in October!

Santa Fe Hurricane

1 lb ground round

3 cans diced tomatoes, undrained

1 can pinto beans, undrained

1 can kidney beans, undrained

1 can whole kernel corn, drained

1 pkg taco seasoning

1 pkg ranch dressing mix

1 c shredded chedder cheese

1 c sour cream

Brown ground round in a skillet. Drain. In crock-pot, combine ingredients except sour cream & cheese, cover & cook on low 6 hours. Garnish soup with sour cream & cheese.

*Starting Dance*

Two weeks ago I started back dancing for this year. I have been taking dance since I was 3. We don't dance in the summer so I was so excited to start again. This year I am taking pointe! It is my first year of pointe. The other dances that I am taking are, tap, ballet, and jazz. This year our theme is Las Vegas! Each year for our recital we have a theme and last year it was working 9 to 5. Last year in my dances I was an archaeologist, rancher, and a jewler. I don't what our dances will be for this year but I can't wait to find out!

~This Summer~

This summer was really great! We didn't do anything else really than go to base ball tournaments every weekend! But other than all the baseball it was great! My brothers team did great in all of their games. The became 5th in the nation!!! Can you believe that, 5th! We went to charelston and Atlanta for some of their games and I loved it because guess what... I got to shop!!!!! And go to the beach whenever we went to charelston. Other than that I really just stayed at home. I almost forgot!! I also got a pool this summer!!!!! :)) I love it! I can't wait until next summer though because my grandparents are taking me outwest! =))))))) I can not wait!!!!!!!!

Ugh!

I could not figure out how to do all of the background and banner things! You would think that since I know all the new teachnologies I would be able to!!! Finally, may I repeat, finally I figured it out and may I say so myself it likes ah-mazing!
